Improve current prices in Closing report

The prices for coins shown in the closing statement sometimes seems wrong or stagnant. This is because they are updated daily for BTC, ETH, LTC and a few others but weekly for the rest.

Change this to have more real-time pricing to show more accurate figures.

    I agree, both exchanges have an API you can tap into for daily price updates. This is especially important for any mining or income transactions for coins other than the big 3 (BTC, ETH, LTC).

    Some are just missing - BQX, LKK, MTL are zero for current price.

    One possible solution would be to have the Current Price column values fetched client side. It looks like it would be pretty easy to grab values using this api: https://coinmarketcap.com/api/. You could then calculate the Current Value and Gain/Loss columns client-side as well. I could code something up in jquery for you if you'd like.

    It would also be great to import a live value for ICO's and other coins - ex. ETN.

    It's great that it allows you to add ICO's and other alt-coins, but the report shows a crazy and inaccurate current price and skews the closing position report.

    Other than that, this tool is absolutely incredible!

    Finally, we have a tool that integrates all of the features that would seem essential, but other sites can't seem to bring together. Thank you SO much!

    Agreed that we need more timely prices from multiple exchanges. There's too much volatility in many of these coins, and variance between exchanges, to rely on a daily (let alone weekly) price from a single exchange.

    I agree with Justin's suggestion of using CoinMarketCap to pull prices then allowing users to adjust client-side. Especially since some small cap coins that aren't represented on any major exchanges but some small ones still have price averaged out on CMC.

    yes, please! this would help a lot... coinmarketcap would be a simple solution.

    Without a doubt this should be the #1 priority.
    The 2factor would be less critical if there was an option to download an export/backup of everything in case someone took over your account. Not sure why 2 Factor authentication is rated so high??? You'd have to be an idiot to keep your full name or pub/private key info in your regular data.

    Accurate prices would be very helpful! coinmarketcap has an API and they list almost all the available coins.

    Yes, it's critical that the prices are accurate. If they're not, we have to do the calculations manually which defeats the purpose of this tool.

    Please move this issue to the top of the to-do list :)

    First of all, I want to thank the software dev team for building such a great product. I wanted to chime in and give my vote on this feature. Having accurate Current Price information is very important. Can this be something that is refreshed automatically every 15 minutes?

    Daily updates for some of the more prominent coins would be awesome. For example, Dash, Monero, Ripple, Neo, Ethereum Classic, Bitcoin Cash and Bitcoin Gold are coins that a lot of people own.

    It says this has been "released" but I'm guessing the kinks are still being worked out? Prices haven't updated for me in a couple days now.

    Prices are not getting updated in the closing report. Please work on it.
